What I do to put energy into my life:

Any time spent with my wife of 23 years brings me peace and joy. We regularly schedule date nights, although they are not always fancy or extravagant, but the time spent together is priceless! Also, I recently achieved a lifelong goal of earning my pilot’s license. I feel most free and at peace at the controls of a small airplane dancing between the clouds. And of course, my wife is my favorite co-pilot!

Why I became a Chaplain:

I have served in many positions and capacities but never felt like I fit in. I attended a class at church on how to help friends and family through hard times and loss. I couldn’t get enough and I loved every second of it. I found Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Sacramento and can honestly say I found my calling. I believe that God created me to serve those who are experiencing emotional trauma and grief. Nothing gives me more joy and peace than when I am able to serve as a Law Enforcement Chaplain.
