HOW WE ARE SUPPORTED
The Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Sacramento (LECS) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which is dependent upon the financial support of businesses, churches, first responder agencies, associations, sponsorships, grants, fundraising events, and most importantly, generous donations from individuals. This ministry simply would not be what it is today without the tremendous contributions of our community.
A diverse Board of Directors serves as a governing body to oversee personnel, policies and planning, and to monitor the fiscal integrity of LECS.
Please know that our donation programs make it possible for LECS to provide Chaplain care and trauma response 24/7/365 to law enforcement, first responders and the community. We are so grateful for your generosity in helping us continue that mission.
The cost for us to train one Chaplain is more than $4,000. We would so appreciate any donation amount – or you can become a monthly donor by visiting the link to your right.
Your gift is tax deductible

“Let me know if I can do anything…”
We have all heard it. In fact, most of us have even said it numerous times. It’s difficult to watch someone we love hurting and not know what to do our say to bring comfort. Unfortunately, when someone experiences great loss they don’t always know, or express, what they really need. They just hurt.
You can make a difference by donating to LECS and check out the list below for some of the different ways you can “do something” to reach the broken hearted. Consider making a monthly recurring gift, hosting a fundraiser or giving through your workplace.
Regardless of how you choose to give, your donation provides important financial support to continue the Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Sacramento’s services to those who are hurting.
Payroll Deductions:
Many donors choose to give to the Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Sacramento through a payroll deduction, similar to contributing to a retirement account. A charitable payroll deduction allows a donor to “spread” their gift out over the course of a year so it’s automatic and easier on cash flow.

In today’s economy, people believe it’s more important than ever for companies to be socially responsible. In fact, 79 percent of Americans say that they would be likely to switch from one brand to another, when price and quality are about equal, if the other brand is associated with a good cause. Globally, 66 percent of people believe it is no longer enough for corporations to merely give money away but that they must integrate good causes into their day-to-day business. Cause-marketing promotions provide great opportunities to involve consumers and employees in this vital work we do. By partnering with LECS, you’re aligning your business with a nationally recognized organization focused on providing compassionate, trauma and crisis responders to the community during their darkest moments.
